PANASONIC NORTH AMERICA - FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT

THE ASSIGNMENT

Build a growth engine
for a portfolio of
challenger brands.

Panasonic North America had engineering credibility, a broad product portfolio and significant retail distribution. The opportunity was to create a more direct relationship with the consumer— and connect brand building to commerce.

Over five uninterrupted years, Left Off Madison became an embedded operating partner across strategy, creative, media, performance, production, ecommerce, retail and culture.

deserves an agency
built to move like
one.”

01 - PANASONIC

One name.
Many
purchase
decisions.

From kitchen counters and bathroom vanities to living rooms and connected homes, we adapted strategy and execution to the reality of each market— not a one-size-fits-all brand playbook.

PANASONIC PALM RAZOR × JESSE METCALFE

A familiar face for an entirely unfamiliar form factor.

Panasonic’s Palm Razor introduced a premium, palm-sized form unlike anything in men’s grooming. Rather than position it as another electric shaver, Left Off Madison made it a design object, technology accessory and travel essential. Actor Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives, Dallas, Chesapeake Shores) brought familiarity, credibility and aspiration—helping turn an unfamiliar new form factor into something men could immediately desire.

U.S. TELEVISION RELAUNCH

A decade AWAY.
Back in the
conversation.

In September 2024, Panasonic returned to the U.S. television market after a ten-year absence with OLED and Mini-LED Fire TV models available through Amazon and Costco.com.

The positive evidence is product and market validation: the company continued with a 2025 flagship lineup, and the Z95B won the HDR segment and placed third overall in the 2025 Value Electronics TV Shootout.

02 - TECHNICS

Heritage,
activated for
today.

We helped translate Technics’ engineering authority into modern cultural relevance— across premium listening, analog rituals, events, tastemakers and original content.

Don’t sponsor culture. Become part of it.

Technics wanted to connect with culture-makers beyond traditional audiophiles. Left Off Madison identified and turned HypeGolf from a one-off sponsorship into a cultural platform spanning golf, music, fashion, nightlife, retail and community.

Across the 2025 Invitational and month-long SoHo Clubhouse, Technics products powered the experience while DJs and tastemakers made the brand part of the culture— not just a logo at an event.

The activation delivered impressions 176% above original measured projections, enabled one-to-one product engagement with every player and generated encouraging retail momentum. 2025 was even better than our 2024 sponsorship.

03 - LUMIX

Across professional cameras, hybrid creator tools, point-and-shoot models and lenses, we made sophisticated imaging technology relevant to photographers, filmmakers and emerging creators.

CIPA shipment data show that LUMIX competed during a period of meaningful growth and premiumization in the Americas camera market. Panasonic separately described FY2025 digital-camera sales as “favorable” and identified imaging as a growth pillar.

Independent market context

LUMIX S-SERIES · “MAKE YOUR BEST SHOT”

When everyone can take a picture, help creators make something unmistakable.

LUMIX introduced its first full-frame mirrorless S-Series in a market dominated by Canon, Nikon and Sony—and disrupted by smartphones. With premium products and a challenger-level budget, it needed more than advertising. It needed credibility.

Recognizing that creating content had become easier while standing out had become harder, Left Off Madison developed “Make Your Best Shot.” Real photographers and their work—not specifications—became the campaign, generating more than 47 million targeted impressions, outperforming media benchmarks and helping LUMIX rebuild relevance among serious creators.

LAUNCH VELOCITY

More than twenty-five product launches, often moving from brief to live in as few as two days and never more than ten. Speed came from one connected team across strategy, creative, production, media and performance.

THE OPERATING ADVANTAGE

Not a collection of

services. A
connected growth
system.

ONE VIEW.
FASTER DECISIONS.

For every campaign, Left Off Madison created a custom performance dashboard that gave Panasonic teams a single source of reporting all year-round and year after year.

Each dashboard showed what was working, identified opportunities and documented both optimization recommendations and actions already taken—turning campaign data into an ongoing system for better decisions and continuous improvement.

supply.

OPERATIONAL SIGNAL

During the engagement, cameras, earbuds, microwaves, DVD players, irons and other products repeatedly experienced out-of-stock conditions. Inventory availability can also be affected by supply, allocation and replenishment constraints, so this is not a standalone attribution measure.

But the frequency and breadth of those occurrences were consistent with sell-through outpacing available supply—a meaningful operational signal of stronger-than-anticipated consumer response.

record shows.

EVIDENCE & DISCLOSURE

The story is deliberately built from agency operating records, public company statements and independent category data—without disclosing Panasonic’s confidential media spend or internal sales.

WHAT THIS EXPERIENCE MEANS FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGER

Big-brand
complexity.
Independent-
agency speed.

If you are managing a portfolio of premium products— and need strategy, creative, media, production and commerce to behave like one team— we should talk.
